We had a terrific day out at Chester Zoo yesterday. We were greeted by some friendly ducks when we arrived and enjoyed a talk in the butterfly house. The elephants were great fun to watch and the penguins were up to their usual tricks. We all enjoyed some ice cream to keep us cool and Richard said “I’m 102 years old and this is still a great day to remember and I can’t wait for the next trip”.
