Our principle aims and philosophy are:
- To create a pleasant, safe and healthy environment as close to an ordinary home as possible, caring for our residents as if they were in the care of their own family and above all providing peace of mind to all concerned.
- To provide a high level of quality care appropriate to our residents individual needs whilst preserving privacy and dignity.
- To encourage the residents independence, allowing the maximum choice possible in lifestyle and continue links with the local community.
These aims and objectives are detailed further in our Service User guide.
The caring staff regularly participate in recognised training programmes and all are actively encouraged to use the Continuing Professional Development that we provide to obtain additional formal qualifications.
The Home enjoys the facility of a well stocked library together with a selection of large print books and pre recorded music. We provide hairdressing and chiropody services at the Home and there are visiting church ministers of all denominations.
