Christmas was a busy time at Woodeaves, from our annual Fayre to visits from friends, family and entertainers.
Our Christmas party was held on 22nd December with a fantastic buffet provided by Helen and a visit from Santa who delivered each resident an early gift. It was lovely to get everyone together playing games and chatting and we’d like to say a special thank you to our own Father Christmas and to all the staff who took the time and effort to make it so special.
Our Christmas Fayre was a wonderful occasion with prizes galore with a terrific Christmas cake made by Mandy and won by Sue, Hilda’s daughter. We also raffled a wooden snowman which Lisa and her partner, Gary, made and this was won by Penny, Betty’s daughter.
We raised £128 for the Residents’ Fund which will go towards trips and extra entertainment.
