News and Activities

Hello from us all at Woodeaves and we hope you all had a lovely weekend.  Here is a snapshot of what our residents are looking forward to this festive week!

We were delighted to welcome the children from Acton Primary School who came to sing some songs for our residents.  Our residents absolutely loved this and the children were amazing!

We were treated to a special Christmas sing-along earlier this week.  Deborah gave a fantastic festive performance which our residents thoroughly enjoyed.

Some of our residents enjoyed some pre-Christmas pampering yesterday with some lovely manicures on display.  We’re all so excited for the big day next week!

Gingerbread Decorating Our residents recently expressed their creative sides by decorating some gingerbread.  They looked fantastic when they’d finished and we’re told the tasted that way too!

We hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.  Our residents have lots to look forward to this week!

After a morning of fun and games, our residents settled down to enjoy Mel’s mince pies with brandy butter accompanied by some delicious hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream!

Our residents have been enjoying their favourite games this week.  There’s always some laughter to be heard and it’s lovely to hear the friendly banter.

Our lovely ladies thoroughly enjoyed their Christmas shopping trip to Bridgemore earlier this week – all beautifully topped off with a delicious lunch!

Our residents had a lovely afternoon yesterday decorating some Christmas stockings that we’ve added to our fireplace display.
